Gluten free & vegan half chocolate peanut butter & half banana chocolate chip smoothie recipe created by me below.
Ingredients:
~ 1 cup frozen cauliflower
~ 2 frozen bananas
~ 1 scoop pea protein powder (optional)
~ 1 tbsp hemp hearts
~ 1 tbsp agave syrup
~ 1 tsp vanilla
~ 1 to 1 1/2 cups plant-based milk (use more milk for weaker blenders)
~ 1 (or 2 or 3) handfuls fair-trade organic cacao nibs or chopped dark chocolate
~ 1 heaping tbsp fair-trade organic cocoa powder
~ 1 tbsp peanut butter (I love @ because it’s palm oil-free & comes in a glass jar)
~ 1 (or 2) large handfuls frozen spinach
Directions:
Blend cauliflower, bananas, protein powder, hemp hearts, agave, vanilla & milk until smooth. Transfer half of mixture from blender into measuring jug & stir in cacao nibs or chopped dark chocolate. Set aside.
Add cocoa powder, peanut butter & spinach to half mixture remaining in blender, then blend until smooth.
Pour chocolate peanut butter smoothie into glass, top with banana chocolate chip smoothie & sprinkle with extra cacao nibs or chopped dark chocolate.
